I’ll know at the end of next week if I get it, but internship/job thingy can’t guarantee more than $8/hr. And I have to take the bus, and the bus system here is awful. I’m kind of spoiled from having been paid way too much to call UW alumni and ask them for money, but I guess I’m just at a point where I feel like $8/hr isn’t enough to compensate me for the lost study time and the inconvenience of riding the bus, let alone the actual work of cleaning up large data sets and performing analyses on them.
But…it would look good enough on my resume that I think if they give it to me, I pretty much have to take it.
