Here’s an Abita oyster stout, in honor of the fact that while on the L train we decided our next bar crawl would be all the d.b.a.’s. Bah!  I live in BR (pretty near Abita Brewery) and this has not been spotted in any bars.  Not that I would drink a beer made with oysters, but it’s the principle of the thing.  The point is, it’s hard to get interesting beer here, even if you live by the place that makes it.  SPEAKING of which, there’s one of those bars here with a million kinds of beer, and when I went they had about four kinds of pumpkin beers, but NOT Dogfish Head Punkin Ale.   My life is so hard.
